Default 550HP Invinci Monk: Spirit of Absorption

Greetings All, Recently I though up a new combo of skills that should/will bring Spirit Bond back to the old days, or even better. Now I'm sure someone else thought this combo up ages ago, it's just kinda hard not to see imho :P. But since I haven't heard of it anywhere and the majority of the community doesn't know it either I decided to post my discoveries anyway.

So what exactly does your build do and why should I use it instead of my 55HP SoA?
Well my build uses the perfect synergy between Spirit Bond, Shield of Absorption and 550HP. Due to the fact that I actually have 550HP I counter the main flaw of the 55, massive degen. This Build can tank an infinite amount of monsters with an infinite amount of degen as long as Spirit Bond is triggered once every 2 seconds. In addition to that my build SHOULD works excellently with a slightly tweaked smiter to dual UW and FoW.

So what is this perfect synergy between Spirit Bond, Shield of Absorption and 550HP?
Like the former Spirit Bond build this build also uses the worst armour possible combined with Protective Spirit. This way each hit will hit for an almost gauranteed 55 damage. Using Shield of Absorption it would take exactly 10 hits to reduce that damage to 0. 10 hits is as we all know the number of hits the nerfed Spirit Bond can take. So if we cast Spirit Bond just before Shield of Absorption it will outheal those first 10 hits, after that Shield of Absorption comes into action and all those hits will be reduced to 0 damage. Thus you are able to tank an infinite amount of monsters since they will all hit for 0 damage except for the first 10 hits in wich their hits will be outhealed by spirit bond. And it can handly any amount of degen since Spirit Bond results in a net healing of 960HP while Shield of Absorption is active. Even with only 1 attack every 2 seconds triggering spirit bond you will still get heal for 480 HP. You take 275 or less damage before SoA reduces damage to 0. -10 Degen causes 20HP per second, 200HP per 10 seconds. 275+200=475. Spirit Bond healed for 480 so you have a net-gain of 5 health every 10 seconds.

Alright, but how exactly do all those enchantments work together?
They work in this order: Spirit Bond - Protective Spirit - Shield of Absorption. So first Spirit Bond will check if the original hit had been over 60 damage, no matter by how much other enchants reduce it. Then Protective Spirit will reduce this damage to 55damage. After that Shield of Absorption will reduce the damage with X times 5 where X is the number of hits taken since SoA was active.

So what exactly is your skillbar?
[Spirit Bond]
[Shield of Absorption]
[Protective Spirit]
[Spitefull Spirit] OR [Shield of Judgement] OR [Sliver Armor] OR [Spellbreaker]
[Blessed Signet]
[Essence Bond] OR [Elemental Resistance] OR [Glyph of Renewal]
[Balthazar's Spirit]
[Blessed Aura]

Needed Attributes are:
Protection Prayers 14 ( 12+1+1 )
Divine Favor 9 ( 8+1 )

The Rest of your points should be diveded based on what fourth skill and sixth skill you took.

How exactly do you use this?
First get all 2/3 enchants up, blessed sig till you're back up on energy. Cast PS, blessed sig, spirit bond and finally shield of absorption and run in. start collecting all the monsters you want to farm. When the recharge of SoA is just past the top left corner of the skill slot start casting Spirit Bond, SoA should be recharged when finished and should immediatly be casted. If you cast Spirit Bond too early you will have to add in another Spirit Bond to regain your health, but you shouldnt die. Forgetting to cast Shield of Absorption will result in your death. Keep protective spirit up as normal. Once you have gathered all the mobs around you start using your offensive skills. If you chose Sliver Armor it's recommended to use GoR to reduce it's recharge time so it's up nearly constantly. The blocking and lack of a second energy gaining enchant will result in far less energy gain so be wary of that. If you chose SS cast it on whatever target you think is right. Shield of Judgement speaks for itself. If you're doing a 2man UW or FoW you should have casted Spellbreaker before you agro'd the enemy. Once SoA hits the top left corner of the skill slot with its recharge start casting SB again and recast SoA. Cast SB whenever you need healing and your health should skyrocket up. Continue using all your skills until the enemy is dead.

Where can I farm using this?
So far I've tried the troll cave and all the Djinns in the hidden city ( explorable area. ) The build isn't extremely easy to use since SoA has to be recasted in a 0.5 sec frame with SB casted right before it but both locations worked great after a bit of practise. Will try dual UW today.

Could this build be used to farm DoA
Maybe, with a second monk carrying Balthazar's Spirit for you and Spellbreaker combined with Blessed Aura on both of you. You should be able to keep Spellbreaker up forever and use Sliver Armor and Retribution to deal the damage. This however is merely theorycrafting, no actual tests have been done

Well I hope you like this build and can put it to some good use .

All comments, suggestions and critics are appreciated.
